Experience brought home...
Eeuwhoek was born from a shared passion for wine, sustainability, and thoughtful design.
For Guy and Anne-Marie Wollaert, that passion had been shaped over decades. Originally from Belgium, they spent more than forty years living and working abroad, in eight different countries spanning five continents. Wine was often part of that journey shared with new connections, around long tables, and carrying conversations well beyond the meal.
After years abroad, they chose to invest their experience and energy in Belgian soil, building something that reflected both where they had been and where they wanted to stay.
Guy leads the vision of Eeuwhoek, combining curiosity, innovation and sustainability into a vineyard built with care and intention. Trained in architecture and shaped by a successful career in innovation, he approaches the vineyard with systems thinking and long-term perspective. Wine has long been a personal passion, driven by curiosity and careful study. As Eeuwhoek took form as a new venture, he formalised that passion through sommelier training, bringing both technical expertise and professional discipline to the estate.
Anne-Marie is the heart of the estate. She oversees the orchard and the vegetable garden, and turns what the land offers into rich honey, homey jams and handmade chocolates. When volunteers gather, she is often in the kitchen, cooking and hosting, making sure the work feels shared and the table feels full. Her presence gives Eeuwhoek its warmth and its rhythm, strengthening the connection between vineyard, landscape and table.
